This is no joke; I've convinced a 40-something year old male friend of mine to read "Twilight" and he picked up a copy and is actually getting into it! He's just into the first or second chapter, but he said, "So far, I don't hate it", so that's a pretty good sign. My mom is borrowing my copy of the first book within the next few days and she's also borrowing the movie because she's said she heard it's good. I told her that I tried to convince her before but she wouldn't listen to me. Well, now she's listening! LOL
So that makes two of my friends who are my age that I've convinced to read it, plus my 40-something male friend and now my mother.
My powers of persuasion are honing themselves quite nicely...now if I could only use them to my advantage to get a car...

Dear everyone,

This is the first time I am posting here. I am desperate for some help please. I joined Arashi Fan club earlier this year with some help from my younger sister (different surname) and it all went fine except, when the letter of the ballot came out, she was away and letter was sent back and now Johnny's refused to send the letter back to her because they said the addressee' name (my name) is not at that address? I told her to tell them that I temporarily live with her but I wonder what is the chance of them sending the letter back to her? I have got 2 weeks left to send the ballot for the dome ticket. What should I do? I am soooo frustated with this T^T.

Other thing is if worst comes to worst, I am still looking for 3 tickets for Sapporo Dome Concert on November 15th. Please *onegai* help me balloting these tickets (or even one will do) I am willing to pay extras++ (Please send me your offer I am willing to consider) in order to get these tickets.

Souw I tried to get it all out of the Windows Movie Maker & made this - not yet finished - video with tonz of my favourite pictures from Robert .. Of course there are a lot more pictures I ADORE from him .. & Not finished means: My WMM didn't work right & started a million times bringing this vid to life .. & I'am so pissed now but don't want to throw this into the garbage .. Had some Austrian pancakes the other day that were baked and quite good; I'm not sure what they're called so if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to know.

Also had some poached eggs and corned beef hash with real chunks of corned beef; can't remember the last time I had that.

Now I'm going to unwrap my lunch. There's nothing interesting on that point.

A little over a week to go!

This month's Challenge was hosted by Sketchy, of Sketchy's Kitchen. And it's a doozy.

In fact, when I first read what the Challenge was, my reaction was holy shit. It took a few weeks to get around to doing this Challenge. It was actually about 2 weeks before the reveal date that I even started on aspects of this one. Unusual for me, to say the least.

The main issue was trying to find actual Skate. That turned out to be impossible here. So I went with 'Previous Frozen fresh Cod, wild caught'- an oxymoron if you ask me. How can it be fresh if it was previously frozen? Hmmm.. Anyway...

Hey there! I'm really hoping there's a really nice Arashi Fan Club member out there willing to make a girl's dream come true! (lol)

I would LOVE it if someone could ballot for any of the December dates for Arashi's upcoming con!! I won't be in Japan until Septemeber, and I think balloting ends at the end of this month. It's been my dream to see them live!
