Untimely Demise. It's our final project from the semester. It's a silent, film noir style short about a detective interrogating a murderer. The thoughts of the killers crime are projected on the wall before he strikes again. If you want to know what they're saying please let us know. We're considering adding the vocals again.

So I'm looking into 1080 TVs and went on BJ's website. LOL. Either this is the most expensive 720p TV I've ever seen, or someone messed up. lol

I found a rocking 8/16mm projector in working condition. Really, it's mint and I'm so happy about it. I was so worried that my professor would hold onto our film projects after we were finished making them and that we would have nothing. Now I must make it my goal that one of us gets to keep the film so that we can have a silent movie night with my projector. :D

I messed around with my hair today too.

My outfit was something I bought with birthday money.

Unemployed. Thank you economy for kicking me to the curb when I need money the most.
I'll be calling Jim's tomorrow to see if they'll hire me back. :(
Ritz closed the Willow Grove store and moved the full time employees to other stores.
Part timers get the boot...I'm one of them.

On a brighter note. I have classes this semester Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30-5:30. I'll hopefully be able to work the other weekdays. Also, Katy will be moving to Philadelphia next semester. If I keep this schedule, we'll be able to see each other a lot more. :)

Okay, this is the aunt that helped in the swindling of a wheelchair from Jefferson hospital so that we could wheel my grandmother to a bar, because she wanted a drink, but didn't feel that she could walk. (We left it in the hospital parking lot mind you, but STILL!)

So Christmas shopping today was a nightmare. She borrowed my grandmother's handicap tag and parked at Old Navy in a handicap spot. She got out and some guy around her age started screaming at her. "You're not handicap! You're not supposed to park there!" She froze, turned and looked him square in the eye. "The leg ISN'T real!" She barked back. The man's jaw dropped and he proceeded to apologize profusely. "It looks so real! I'm so-so sorry!" He bowed his head. "This is what years and years of physical therapy gets you." Without another word she turned heel and hurried into Old Navy and was out within 15 minutes.

Oh. This story made my day.

I Hate Hamlet! (The Play. I really love it.)

I went to see I Hate Hamlet tonight at the college. It was great! I loved that they had Hamlet's speech in the play, it was well placed. All the lines from Shakespeare were well placed. It was really funny too.

The ice is fused to every branch of every tree, and every needle on every pine tree. It's WONDERFUL! By wonderful, I mean pretty. It's horrible for the people that have to deal with fallen branches, trees, and car accidents. I'll take pictures in the morning. The bamboo is a frozen fortress. It's pressed to the ground and if you crawl underneath it's a bamboo forest encased in ice! :D

I also have the most ghetto Polaroid camera in existence! I have to hold it up, the eye piece is amiss, and the side mount snapped off. It works though. lol

Frustrating

I hate being crippled by my own demise. While I didn't break my foot, and I'm ever so thankful for that, I won't be allowed to walk for the next week without a boot on. I can drive though! I was horrified at the thought of my mother being my chauffeur for the next week. That would be the icing on the cake for this weekend. At least she doesn't have an excuse to yell at me for doing something she doesn't approve of, or for forgetting to do something she asks of me.

1. I rolled my foot.
2. Now Bandit's very ill. He's 14, and I think he's just starting to really show his age. :(
3. My father has been sick all morning.

I can also look forward to the holiday. :)

See where I've circled? That unnatural looking lump took a second to pop up after I crunch-rolled my foot.
Yeah. I'm calling this disaster a CRUNCH-ROLL. *cries* It hurts so badly right now.

Why me? I was sitting down writing and just went to go check my cellphone. When I went to stand I lost my footing and stumbled forward... My right foot rolled onto its other side and there was a horrible crunching crack sound followed by immense pain on the right side of my foot. I toppled over quickly, nearly taking out poor Angel, my Corgi. This is the same foot that I broke in middle school and had to have re-broken and set in high school...UHHH!! (Except the other side of that foot.)

My last two toes aren't working at the moment...and I can't put weight on my foot either. The swelling started right away as you can see in the picture. :( It hasn't even been 15 minutes since the injury!! I HATE hospitals. Hate them. I also have work tomorrow. I really need the money for Christmas. >_<' What luck do I have?? Hmm??? NO LUCK. Maybe I'll endure the pain and go to work and go to the hospital afterward?? Hmm...not sure I can hold off telling my mother this one. -_-' From the look of the swelling now, I may have issues getting my foot into a shoe.

I think I'm going to sleep out on the living room couch, where I am right now. I don't want to venture walking to my room, or rather jumping on one foot to my room. My mother slept through the catastrophe and I would like her to stay unaware of the situation until morning at the very least.

I'm thinking this week is going to be interesting. In a good way. :)

I want to spend time with friends and family and who knows maybe make some new friends while I'm at it. :D

The best I can hope for is that everything goes well, and that the turkey doesn't burst into flames. Mother has allowed me the honor of cooking this year...or at least she will only be "supervising". In my mother's terms this could very well mean that she will cook and I'll just be in the room with her, but we'll see...

My new glasses were finally ready. They're CoverGirl brand. I like the metal frame a lot more than my older, plastic ones. (Especially if these new ones meet the same horrifying end like the old ones did. There's a better chance for repairs.)

In case you missed it. I stepped on my old ones and snapped them in half. *sigh*
I was at the Peach farm with my mom. She placed them on the floor without telling me. I blindly, with a basket of freshly picked peaches in my arms, sat down, threw my feet forward and...CRUNCH. :(

Oh. On another note. The Strangers...is scary.

One of my favorite necklaces. *gasp* Yes, that's a tan line to the upper right. XD

I had a migraine when I got home today. :(
Instead of drugging myself like usual I tried some tea that my cousin recommended.
I'll write down the name when I'm not tired and find the energy to walk out to the kitchen.
It worked! I sat outside with my sunglasses, sipping tea, while Bandit and Angel played outside.
I managed to read some more of my book too, an added plus that I wasn't expecting.

My mom is out of the hospital. She has a followup appointment today (since it's 1:38AM) around 12 in the afternoon. The infection seems to be going away finally. Her foot is doing much better. It was scary there for awhile. Thank you everyone who commented and e-mailed me.
